Finally, a picture! This is the Cthulhu Dice Bag I knitted my boyfriend for Christmas. It is not all as the pattern. I used 4mm needles, as the 5mms would have knitted me a very good sieve. I also only picked up fifty stitches around the base, I couldn’t get seventy for love nor money (not that I offered either, in fairness). As a result I dispensed with several rows above the colour work, just to keep it all in perspective.
The black yarn is Cygnet Wool Rich Aran and the green yarn is Bernat Glow in the Dark (and many thanks go to Audrey for this piece of genius). I think it came out really quite well considering I’d never done colour work or an icord before. I think it went down well, gift-wise, and in the end that’s the main thing! The chocolate dice have been appropriately disposed of, and I am assured that it does glow in the dark. Yay!

I do love it! It is a fantastic present!
I have also made all of my fellow geeks extremely jealous by showing it off to them. Not only is it a Cthulhu dice bag, it also glows in the dark!
Awesome!
